Under stairs storage - looking to get the existing storage space (which currently has one door) redesigned into something more accessible - ideally with a shoe rack and other pull out storage. Build a stud chimney breast

I have a window board that has collapsed under the weight of 2 cats sitting on it as there doesn’t appear to be any supports underneath. I would like supports put in and the board refitted and sealed. Note - there is a radiator directly below the window, with approx 1cm gap between top of radiator and window board.
