Sliding door does not run smoothly on its guide after slamming

My living room door does not shut. It previously had a perko concealed door closer which was taken out, it now just swings open and doesn't close. Not sure if I need a new handle and latch. Also need a new piece of elevated floor trim. At the moment there is a piece of wood that is on the edge of the kitchen floor and it is falling apart.

I would like an L shaped lidded boxed storage unit made, that can also be sat on. This would be made in and for my garden. The longer length of the L is 7 ft and the short end 3 -4 ft.
