Fix 4 or 5 creaking steps on ground to first floor staircase.

I have a traditional oak staircase. Some of the steps creak quite badly, there is some cracking on a half-landing and one of the steps is a bit ‘loose’. There is some access from underneath, but this is awkward and not complete. The stairs are not carpeted, but the intention is to fit a runner. We’d like to complete the repair first.
