I am posting regarding a leak in the roof of my tenanted house that has recently become apparent. Despite the corner of the roof getting damp in the past during rain, it has started to leak only now under heavy rainfall. We have a very narrow flat area approx 1 metre long and about 30 cm wide where the water decants into a downspout from the main roof. We have had it repaired a couple of times in the 43 years we have lived here. There are signs that it may have developed a small leak and needs repairing again.
