Have taken off some plaster to drill holes for Dryrods and I found the foot of a rotting upright timber by the brickwork on the adjacent wall. Brickwork and timber are damp at the foot of the wall and is between 1' and 2' long in 3 places. Those parts of the wall never had a dpc put in.
