Replace valve in toilet cistern. When flushed the water infill doesn't stop but overflows fresh water into the pan. The WC is in my en-suite in my loft conversion, fitted 6 years ago. I'm guessing it just needs a new valve as the existing one isn't shutting off the water supply anymore when it reaches the appropriate fill level. It is a modern cistern, not traditional ball valve.
