Just had my loft insulation topped-up but they weren't allowed to finish the same for the cold water tank. It involves cutting the pipe that runs from the Surrey flange, on the top of the HW tank, to near the CW tank, in order to fit the new lid (it vents into the CW tank in the loft thro' the new tank lid). Our toilet has been slowly leaking - the water has spread into the local floorboard and made them soggy, and caused the toilet to lean / become unstable. It seems quite localised. The waste pipe connector is plastic leading to an iron waste pipe which leaves the flat. Our bathroom has wooden floorboards on top of a concrete base.
