Part of wiring in ceiling was disconnected due to a leak from above, the second leak from above through the same spot - directly through the ceiling light fixture. I need an assessment on the condition of the wiring (whether rewiring will be necessary) and if it is safe to do so reconnect so that we can use our upstairs lights.

Replace 11 or 12 socket fittings. I have done 3 but decided probably safer to get someone qualified. Shouldnt be a big job at all. I also need a light fitting changed. I attempted but 3 x earth wires cant fit into tiny terminal box so decided to again combine with the above! Many thanks!
