The ceiling fan in bedroom isn’t working. The light is working via the wall switch, but it seems the remote is not able to get the light or fan itself to turn on/off. We’ve changed the batteries in the remote and the light comes on with the wall switch but the remote seems to be unable to communicate with the fan (to turn the light on or off and the various levels of speed on the fan).

Remove existing ceiling rose (ordinary white plastic bog standard one) And replace with new light fitting. Property is less than 20years old so modern. Light fitting is a matter of a few feet away from the rcd unit/box. Ceiling is not very high at all as modern property. Ideally I would like it doing on Friday 17th May or over that weekend. The old extractor fan in the bathroom sparked and short circuited during shower and tripped off all ceiling lights in the one bedroom flat. But electricity in wall sockets works normal.

A ceiling light bulb blew, and now no new bulb works (tested the bulbs work on another light fitting). Other wired lights on the same floor also do not work since the bulb went. All three of the sets of lights have different switches.

Fixing power outage possibly related to controlled circuits failure

I have a 2004 Central Extract Fan (SAVDCE-3) in my flat. It does not work. I believe that the motorvunit needs replacing. However, the part has been discontinued the closest Nuaire can get is a unit for MEVDC. I need someone to quote and consult on how to get the fan up and running through the flat. Then carry out the work.
