The house is a 1930's brick built semi-detached with a pitched roof, the issue is that in the loft two feet of the ridge board (in the section where it comes out of the party wall) is very damp/wet as is one of the rafters that is against the party wall. There are some signs of tiny puddles on the loft floor in the area under the issue mentioned above indicating that some water after a rain shower is dripping through

I am posting regarding a leak in the roof of my tenanted house that has recently become apparent. Despite the corner of the roof getting damp in the past during rain, it has started to leak only now under heavy rainfall.
