Hello, We are currently in the process of buying a house on penny lane WA5 4DS. We consulted a surveyor to do a level 3 RICS and the below are his findings & was hoping for a quote to inspect the chimney. ''There are no live fireplaces to the property. The rear chimney breast on the ground floor has been removed however the chimney breast above does not appear to be adequately supported. The ceiling directly above is uneven and sagging which can indicate shoddy workmanship and defects'' The ground floor chimney has been removed however in the room above it has been kept. Many thanks
