Hi We need 4 pillars rendering, each pillar is 4metre squared. Also 2 small long walls , each wall 0.3 metre by 4 metre long. After rendering the pillars and walls need painting too. We're all lessees and our freeholder has served an s20 notice for some work. if possible, please come round to inspect the job and submit some quotes forward for the work and i shall recommend you for it to the freeholder. it's to commence in about a months time. below are some details of it. i'd like to add more but there's a word limit. the perimeter around the house is 27 metres in length - that's the wall but the house itself is smaller than that. thanks. RENDER REPAIRS GENERALLY Render repairs are to be carried out in accordance with the general specification clauses. Dub out surtaces cement/lime/sharp sand. and voids in 1:1/2:4 In this instance, the render mix is to be 1:1/2:4 cement/lime/washed sharp sand, incorporating Feb Rendamix in the gauging mix in strict accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and dosages. Feb Rendamix is manufactured by Everbuild Group, Site 41, Knowsthorpe Way, Cross Green Industrial Estate, Leeds LS9 OSW Tel: 0113 240x xx Build up render in three coats to a minimum overall thickness of 28mm. Scratch wavy horizontal lines between successive coats to ensure a firm mechanical key. Finish flush with surrounding surfaces. Reinstate any blocking lines and ashlar in sharp, true lines. Render finish to match existing. Repair of Cracks Grind out cracks to a minimum width of 10mm and a depth of 20mm and fill with 1:1/2:4 cement/lime/washed sharp sand incorporating Feb Rendamix within the mixture. Ensure-render is well rammed into the cracks. All cracks wider than 0.2mm are to be repaired using 316 stainless steel EML mesh fixed to the masonry to prevent cracks re-opening. Generally Hammer test all rendered elevations and report any off key areas of render back to the CA. SCHEDULE OF RENDER REPAIRS All render repairs are to be carried out in accordance with clause 1.0.1 - 1.0.8 North Facing Elevation Provisional: Carefully hack off and re-render 4m? of cracked/de-bonded render as directed by the CA onsite.
