We are Dorset Build & Maintenance Company Ltd.
We are a medium sized local building and maintenance contractor, and our work area is primarily all areas of the South Coast - but mainly in Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole.
Housing Associations, local architects, surveyors, private individuals and also numerous insurance companies such as Direct Line, Churchill, AVIVA, Saga, Oriel, Cunningham & Lindsay and Crawfords and other Blue-Chip clients generally. We are also an approved contractor with all local authorities such as Dorset County Council, District Council's, Dorset Police and Dorset Fire Service.
The company works regularly in the Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole areas - covering all DT and BH postcodes.
We have been trading since 1997 and have 26 craftsmen covering all trades and services; including plumbing installations (including Gas Safe Register works),electrical installations and testing,brickwork and masonry works, groundworks and pavings partitioning and plastering, carpentry and joinery,ceramic floor and wall tiling, and painting and decoration
We have £5M Public liability and £10M Employers Liability Insurances.
As we are regularly working in people's homes and schools then all our craftsmen and operatives are DBS (Criminal Records Bureau) checked, hold current CSCS cards and we are members of the Federation of Master Builders.
Our in-house estimating team are also able to produce competitive quotations and schedules of works rapidly, often at short notice. We are able to provide numerous referees and letters from very satisfied clients.
