Local electrician who can quickly and easily renew your outdated fuse board and replace fabric covered cables with modern uPVC coated cables.

No job too small, fixing a switched plug socket on the wall or changing the wires on terminals stopping the light switch from working. Or too big, replacing an old fuse board with an updated consumer unit housing the main switch, fuses and circuit breakers for the home or rewiring the entire home when the electrics and cables are more than thirty years old.

Domestic electrician services include;

Full or partial rewire

  • replace old cabling with new
  • replace existing connections if needed
  • performing electrical safety tests on all the wiring
  • confirming sockets, power outputs, circuit and fuse board function as they should

Upgrades and home improvement

Do I need to hire a local electrical wiring contractor?

When the electrics go wrong in your household and need a complete or partial rewiring, it’s really important that you contact an expert rather than attempting repairs yourself. A live wire electrical contractor can safely repair electrical household appliancesrewire lighting, fix fused sockets, troubleshoot why extension cords are heating up, plus much more.

Leaving damaged electrics plugged in can cause damage or even fire, so if you are concerned about the quality of any electrical wiring or equipment, it’s time to call a specialist electrician.

A household wiring electrician can provide your home with an updated electrical wiring system with minimal disruptions, while also repairing any other electrical faults that may arise.

What do household electrical wiring specialists near you do?

A household electrician who specialises in wiring will:

  • Rewire existing wires: A household wiring electrician can handle the electrical installation of house wiring with minimal disruption. This includes replacing RCD units, installing fuse boards, re-wiring of lighting circuits, replacing wiring ring-mains and fitting electrical switches, sockets, and lighting dimmers.
  • Install wiring into new buildings: A household wiring electrician can also install new electrical wiring into new homes and properties. This can be wiring for lights, sockets, smoke detectors, cooker circuits, RCDs, fuse boxes, consumer units, spotlights, electric timers, extractor fans and more.
  • Troubleshoot any issues: Electrical wiring repair is a common job for a household rewiring electrician. In order to fix a problem, they will troubleshoot faults to determine the cause and possible solutions, checking wires, cable connectors and other common sources of issues.
