By a country mile - the worst experience I have had with any joiner. Avoid this man at all costs. He demanded payment up front for an unfinished job; threatened to leave the job as around a third was held back for snagging (the job was nowhere near complete); lied about completing snagging works to obtain the last payment; failed to install a 4.5k kitchen according to the plan provided to him and did not raise his default; eg he used packing materials as finishing/filler panels and the wrong materials for plinth and pelmet; damaged various surfaces of the kitchen which I then had to request again and replace from the manufacturer; failed to install an under fridge vent on plan; claimed all works were done and, particularly, claimed the electrics had been fitted properly and the job was finished; hidden behind an integrated fridge freezer, he had hard wired a cooker and extractor fan into a plug socket and then plugged the appliance in for good measure, with the socket hanging out the wall. He also fitted a washer dryer and dishwasher using a concealed 4 plug extension bar from a socket. This wasn't just bad workmanship. This was potentially fatal and this man left, apparently not caring at all that his work could have killed people. He was given 14 days to fix most of his faults and failed to do so, having been paid in full for his attempts at installing (but instead badly damaging) an expensive kitchen. I am just glad the consequences of hiring this man were not far more severe.
