Window Advice Centre was founded in 1981 to provide assistance to consumers in line with recommendations of the Office of Fair Trading. Window Advice Centre's services are available to the general public without charge or obligation. Our independent experts provide impartial reliable advice to help with product and contractor selection. The advice covers all aspects of statutory obligation and technical matters such as differences in product lifespan, thermal performance, weather resistance, noise reduction, security, aesthetics and cost. Client's requirements are set out in a tender document containing detailed technical specifications and scale drawings covering all aspects of the proposed work and the manner of its undertaking. Contractors' costs are then obtained on a directly comparable basis allowing selection of the most competitive offer. All work is inspected on completion to ensure it is free of defect prior to payment. Approved work is covered by 10 year guarantee insurance.
