Our highly professional business is named after the incredible grandfather of our company’s founder, Zane. Ron Smale guided Zane into the construction industry, showing him how to project manage large-scale, multi-site construction work – and, since 2018, we have been honoured to work under the name of this late, great man.Zane alone has been working in the building industry for 15 years, having completed his apprenticeship in carpentry in 2006, before taking up work as a site foreman. In 2012, he became site manager of a renowned national housing developer, and won awards in this role, handling projects from small, new-build estates to projects of over 200 units.However, as this entire journey began with a simple piece of advice, it was only fitting that, when Zane went into business for himself, the name of Ron Smale was his inspiration. As you can imagine, then, at our core, we are a family-run business, which is reflected in the way we communicate and value every customer.
