Loud noise, bathroom tap

When I run a cold water tap in the bathroom, there’s a lot of noise and it’s reverberating across the house; it sounds like the water is running under huge pressure (which is not the case). Somebody suggested that it could be caused by air getting into the system. How can I fix this?

Hi the best thing would be to start with the mains tap first, close it from the mains open the closest tap to the mains, let the water run through then move to next furthest tap, and continue with this until you have opened up all taps. Then close them after letting them run for a few minutes. Then close the furthest tap working backwards. Any more questions text me 07365 247 888
