British Gas HomeCare cover - to get or not to get?

I bought a property with a 3 year old boiler (Worcester); I don’t have a warranty for it but it’s working perfectly. Is it worth taking out a British Gas Homecare cover (especially as scale-related problems are not covered) - or is it better if I just put some money away and pay for repairs IF something goes wrong?
