I am a 29 year old Fully qualified electrician working in London and surrounding areas and registered with ELECSA. I will undertake domestic, commercial and industrial work from small 1 hour jobs to full rewires and testing,inspection and certification of installations. I left school at 16 starting an electrical apprenticeship with a Leading Suffolk Boarding School on their 200 acre site. During the time as an apprentice I was working closely with a very experienced electrician on projects from day to day maintenance to huge industrial installations and new builds. I completed 3 years at college part time and then did an NVQ level 3, followed by my AM2 exam. At this time I was now in charge of my own projects on the site. The last one being a rolling program of classroom renovations. I gained a lot of experience on this site on working sympathetically with old building techniques and gained an eye for matching energy saving ideas with original features on buildings. I decided after 9 years on the same site it was time for a change and started my own company which has been running well for over a year now. I joined ELECSA and passed my 2394 and 2395 testing and inspection exams making it easy to comply with part p. I have been mainly working in the domestic field during this time, from projects such as full rewires to inspection and testing to small additions.
