They believe passionately in good friendly service and think you should have the best advice available.First welcomed by the local community back in 1980, Checkers of Churchtown started out in business selling timber, wallboards, plywood, melamine and beading etc., all of which could be cut to size (a service which is still available at Checkers to present day) They also offered an extensive range of hardware, something quite unusual for a local DIY shop at the time. It was this base that soon led to their huge success in the area and in turn opened new doors for the company, expanding into Kitchens, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Wallpaper and fabrics.
