Tried to jumpstart and after several attempts the engine turned on once. After turning off it wont start again no matter how long the battery charges. Maybe battery needs replacing. Or maybe ignition problem. How much would this cost to rix?

Underneath the driver's seat underneath there's a flap that's come down where the exhaust is underneath the driver's seat when I turn the car on it sounds like a train it's so loud. So I can't drive it but now my battery has died as well so I'm really not sure what to do I hope I've described the right thing.
