Following a full gas check which included a boiler service, the console on the wall stopped talking to the boiler. We can no longer fire the boiler for water / heating using the console. However, a secondary redundancy switch has been used in the interim for hot water. Electric heaters have been used in the meantime. We had our service ahead of lock down due to a planned move, the engineer would not re-visit the property due the company closing for COVID - so this has been as above for near 2 months. We're hoping as restrictions ease, we will be ale to set a move date but want to ensure fully operational system in place ahead of exchange. Thanks. Details: - Installed 1992, mechanical boiler. No issues up until this point. Has had two services within last year (both for house sale purposes).
