Hello! I am looking for an electrician that would be able to help with the following works: 1) we are re-doing our kitchen, so we need to re-organise sockets in the room. This would involve preparing the traces and the boxes so that we can continue with plastering, assemblying, and tiling, and then complete the sockets and spurs once the kitchen is set up, 2) while the kitchen is not assembled yet, we would also need to carry some electrical cables that would run behind the kitchen units to the outside of the house, so that they are ready for a future extension (to be completed next year). 3) finally we would need to add a couple of sockets in a different room, which nmeans carrying a cable from a nearby one (should be pretty simple). I totally understand you might need more details and measures for a precise quote, but would it be something you could help with? If so, what is the daily rate? Would you be able to do the first part of the work (traces in the kitchen and cables for extension) on the 7th or 8th September? (we have a tight schedule of other contractors around those dates) Thank you very much for the information, I can attache a kitchen technical drawing in the next email. Feel free to call me at 07918534620. Best regards, Francesca Cecinati

install the 2 cables (1 cable between the Kitchen Printer and computer, 1 cable between the Dim Sum Printer and compute). For each cable: 1. Please do NOT connect any junction box at both ends of the cable (e.g. computer side and kitchen side). 2. Please connect FEMALE CAT5 RJ45 connector at both ends of the cable (e.g. computer side and kitchen side). 3. When connecting the FEMALE RJ45 connectors, please arrange the 8 wires inside the cable using Straight-Through (NOT Cross-Over). 3. Please leave 2 metres of cable at both ends of the cable so that the cable is long enough to reach where you want (e.g. the computer and kitchen printer). 4. For the cable type, please use FTP (Foiled Twisted Pair) or STP (Shielded Twisted Pair). Please do NOT use UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair). 5. For the cable standard, please use CAT5 or CAT5E computer network cable. Please do NOT use CAT6.

Ive taken the cover off and looks like one of the wires has come loose, but Ive threaded the screw in the chocbox and cant get at it properly to fix. Also the isolator pullswitch has jammed up, could use looking at too.
