Roof repair

Torch on flat roof

I am doing a loft extension. The dormer roof is 5m x 4m. I have bought felt for 3 layer torch on. Venting base layer, SBS base layer, SBS Technatorch torch on Cap sheet. I am now considering bottling out of doing the roof myself as I’ve done felt roofs before (2 layers with hot barrel of bitumen) but never “torch on” and I don’t want to balls it up.

Add 20 Ridge tiles

Have a new roof that is fully scaffolded. Roof is replaced but no new ridge tiles between me and my semi-detached next door neighbour on the sloping roof front and back. Although not needed he is insisting on these now being added. Existing roofer too busy to do the job
