2 bed terrace has a single story box gutter that has started to leak inside. Torch on flat roof

I am doing a loft extension. The dormer roof is 5m x 4m. I have bought felt for 3 layer torch on. Venting base layer, SBS base layer, SBS Technatorch torch on Cap sheet. I am now considering bottling out of doing the roof myself as I’ve done felt roofs before (2 layers with hot barrel of bitumen) but never “torch on” and I don’t want to balls it up.
