Remove small fireplace, hearth (already loose and detached), and backplate, brick up (including airbrick), remove surrounding uneven plaster on chimney breast, replaster chimney breast, fit new skirting board at base of chimney breast. Add levelling compound where hearth is for later carpeting. Chimney breast is remaining in place.
